Mountain Respite Home Care is a non-medical in-home care provider dedicated to supporting individuals and families with compassionate, dependable care. We specialize in respite services that give primary caregivers the time and space they need to rest, recharge, and care for themselves—while knowing their loved one is safe, comfortable, and supported at home.
Our Mission
Our mission is to enhance quality of life for our clients and their families by providing trusted respite, personal, and companion care services. We are committed to supporting caregivers, promoting independence, and helping individuals remain safely and comfortably in their own homes.
Our services include respite care, personal care, and companion care. We assist with daily routines such as bathing, grooming, mobility, and personal hygiene, while also providing companionship, supervision, and meaningful social interaction. Every care plan is tailored to meet the unique needs, preferences, and routines of each client.

Mountain Respite Home Care was founded by Renée Tousey, a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with over 10 years of caregiving experience in long-term care facilities, memory care communities, and in-home care settings. Throughout her career, Renée saw the growing need for trusted, high-quality care that allows individuals to remain safely in their homes while easing the physical and emotional demands placed on family caregivers.
